Cosmetic Dentistry Services
Let’s break down this name: Invisalign → Invis | align → invisible aligners. If you’ve dreaded the idea of brackets and wires on your teeth, ask our dentists about . Invisalign are nearly invisible aligners that straighten your teeth little by little. In fact, most patients are able to get their dream smiles in as little as 12 to 18 months!
Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign clear aligners are discreet. While someone may notice your clear aligners up close, most people won’t be able to tell. This means that you’ll be able to straighten teeth without anyone having to know! Invisalign is also removable so you can continue eating your favorite foods.
We’re able to make custom whitening trays for you to use at home. During your first appointment, we’ll take impressions of your teeth to send to the lab. When you return for your next appointment, your custom whitening trays will be ready.
Custom teeth whitening trays fit much better than what you’d find over the counter. They also use a stronger bleaching solution so you can achieve dramatic results. We offer bleaching solutions in different strengths. That way, you can choose whether you want to wear your custom whitening trays for a few hours or overnight.
A crown is like a cap that fits over your tooth. Our dentists may recommend a porcelain crown to restore a tooth weakened by injury or decay. Yet, they can also use porcelain crowns to improve the look of stained or misshapen teeth.
Our cosmetic dentists use CEREC to plan and place your dental crown in one appointment. This lets you avoid the discomfort of a temporary crown and the inconvenience of a second visit. A CEREC crown is durable, yet looks and feels natural.
Porcelain Veneers & Lumineers®
Veneers are wafer-thin porcelain shells we can bond to the fronts of teeth. Porcelain veneers can cover slight chips, cracks, stains, and other minor imperfections. To make room for your veneers, we’ll need to remove a thin layer of enamel. That way, your teeth won’t seem large or bulky with your new porcelain veneers.
Don’t want us to remove healthy tooth structure (no matter how little)? Ask if you’re a candidate for Lumineers®. Lumineers are thin enough that we often don’t have to remove enamel from the fronts of your teeth. Even if we do have to remove enamel, it’s much less than what we’d remove for traditional veneers.
We may recommend dental bonding to restore teeth with small chips, cracks, or stains. For the procedure, we mold a tooth-colored dental putty to your tooth. We then use a special light to harden the material to your tooth. Unlike other procedures, we can do teeth bonding in one visit so you can walk out of our office with your new smile.
